October 23, 2013 turned out to be a banner day for articles on the High Bridge. These were sparked by an article in the New York times. The article is interesting in that it discusses the High Bridge and its connection to the improvements in the Harlem River for public access. While this article in the Riverdale Press is not exactly on point, it could have significance. The MTA will run a pilot program to clean up the Metro North Hudson Line railroad bed of debris between Spuyten Duyvil and Highbridge. If successful they will clean up other lines. Since lines run under the High Bridge this will potentially be really significant.
